I am not sure just what attracts everyone to Rudys every March, other than the great food. When Rudys opens their doors for the season, us Oswego residents overlook the snow and the ice, for we know that spring has officially arrived. Rudys is opened! We flock to Rudys to munch down on fish and chips or texas hots, despite the weather. And what keeps people going back? It might be the fabulous view of the lake as the kids are entertained by skipping pebbles across the top of the water while licking their ice cream cones. Or, for couples of any age sharing their frys, it might be the magic Rudys brings with its backdrop to a romantic sunset. I do know however that Rudys is a landmark. There have been many times when I have been there and the line of people waiting to get in are out the door. But, we patiently wait our turn as we chat with friends and listen to the waves lap the shore. The food is worth the wait and besides...it is RUDYS!!

What great place!! My parents, originally from Fulton, would take a Saturday afternoon drive that would usually end at your drive-in. My mom absolutely loves your fish and will make at least one trip, usually two when visiting the area. Have you ever considered making some of your fare available on the internet. You might be surprised at the response.

We werent sure when you closed for the season and we were looking for a nice drive to end a perfect summer weekend. We tried calling your number, but there was no answer or message, so we gambled and lost. Actually, we didnt lose because it was a beautiful day for a drive anyway. Have a great offseason and well see you next year! Ken & Jo.
